MakeEbook ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered eBook generation service through the MakeEbook iOS application. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
We keep this deliberately short. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

All subscriptions and credit packs in the MakeEbook iOS app are sold exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple, and we never see or store your card number.
There is no other way to purchase or unlock paid content in the app. Nothing purchased outside the App Store can be used, accessed, or restored within the iOS app.
We use RevenueCat to verify Apple In-App Purchase receipts and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your app account ID and purchase details. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
When you generate an eBook, the title and topic you enter are sent to OpenAI to produce the text. OpenAI processes this as an API request. Per OpenAI's API policy, content submitted through the API is not used to train their models. See the OpenAI privacy policy.
Your generated eBooks are stored on our servers so that they remain available in your library. They are not published, shared, or made visible to other users.
Only the service providers needed to run the app:
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, analytics networks, or data brokers.
Your account and eBooks are kept for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove it within 30 days.
You can ask us to:
Email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days. Because we do not collect your name or email address, please send your request from a device where the app is installed, or include enough detail for us to identify your account.
If you are in the EU or UK, these rights are yours under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
MakeEbook is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on servers with access controls in place. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
