The agreement between you and CalScan, in plain language.

By downloading or using CalScan you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. CalScan is provided by Murat Güven ("we", "us").
Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies to your download. Where these terms and Apple's agreement conflict on the licence itself, Apple's agreement governs.
You must be at least 18 years old. CalScan calculates calorie targets and is not suitable for children, adolescents, or anyone whose nutrition needs require supervision.
Do not use CalScan if:
CalScan produces estimates for general guidance. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. Calorie and macro figures generated from a photo are approximations and can be significantly wrong, particularly for mixed dishes, sauces and added oils.
Calorie targets are calculated with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation and a capped deficit. They are a starting point, not a prescription. Consult a doctor or registered dietitian before changing what you eat, and stop using the app if it is affecting your relationship with food.
You are responsible for decisions you make about your own diet.

Both subscription plans begin with a 3-day free trial that includes 2 photo scans. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged the price shown in the app.
A scan is consumed when a photo is successfully analysed. If analysis fails, the scan is returned to you. Correcting the name, portion or numbers of a meal, and adding meals by hand, are free and never consume a scan.
Unused subscription scans do not roll over to the next period. Scan credit packs do not expire.
All purchases are handled by Apple, so we cannot issue refunds. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com. Statutory rights in your country are unaffected.

We may suspend access to the analysis service if it is being abused.
The photos you scan remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process a photo and return an estimate for that request. We do not publish, share or sell your photos. See the Privacy Policy.
Photo scanning needs an internet connection and our service to be reachable. The diary, manual entry, targets and history work offline. We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features.
CalScan is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any health outcome arising from decisions you make using the app's estimates.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it; the date at the top shows the current version. You may stop using CalScan at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription through Apple.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
